Novelty on a market.
Undeniably unique.
Choose a set of 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10 or 16 tiles. The price shown is for your selected set size. For sets larger than 16 tiles, please contact me to arrange your order. Each individual tile measures 15 x 15 cm / 5.9" x 5.9".
The smallest set contains 2 tiles that form one 15 x 30 cm / 5.9" x 11.8" vertical composition. Meadow plants are tall, so this two-tile composition allows the whole plant to be shown. You can combine these compositions horizontally for a longer border. Example: 4 tiles can form a 30 x 30 cm area. The 9-tile and 16-tile options are arranged as 3 x 3 and 4 x 4 compositions.
Perfect for European kitchen splashback – 15x15 cm is the classic EU tile size. Ships from Slovenia, EU – no customs within EU, fast delivery to Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, UK (2-5 working days).

SPRING MEADOW COLLECTION – Plants:
Meadow buttercup (Ranunculus acris), crimson clover (Trifolium incarnatum), red clover (Trifolium pratense), vetch (Vicia sativa), bird's-foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), daisy (Bellis perennis) and grasses...
All collected and pressed by hand throughout the year in Slovenia.
No two sets are identical – each one is unique.
MAKING PROCESS:
Throughout the year I collect and dry plants in a classic herbarium way. I prepare classic 15x15 cm ceramic tiles in sets, arrange the design. This is a time-consuming and delicate job.
The plants are fixed and sealed with my proprietary cold glaze finish. Classic kiln glazing would burn the plants, so the final finish is a hard, glossy cold glaze made for humid spaces. Not a simple resin.
PROPERTIES:
The cold glaze is solid, glossy and made for kitchens and bathrooms:
UV and water resistant
Scratch resistant (normal use, sensitive to aggressive scratches)
Chemical resistant – home tested, safe with liquid cleaners including bleach
Heat resistant up to 70°C / 158°F
You will receive each tile protected by a protective foil, which you remove after grouting.
Base tile: RAKO Czech Republic, Color One WAE19000, white 15x15 cm wall tile – high quality.
Production time:
Each herbarium tile is made to order, with a production time of at least 25 days before dispatch. Shipping time is additional. A small selection may be ready to ship, please contact me to check availability.
